I’ve reacted at times when I should have remained silent. I’ve remained silent at times when I should have reacted. & I know I’m not the only one .
I’m always asking God to help me recognize when it’s really a “me” problem so I don’t respond in ways that are not helpful.
Sometimes it’s as simple as recognizing why you may be bothered and dealing with it instead of allowing a moment to ruin your entire day.
When I was younger I would wake up in a GREAT mood, because it was going to be a GREAT day….until it wasn’t.
I had to begin looking back on my day and understanding - when did it turn south and why? Did someone say something rude? Did I see something that upset me? Did I not get an outcome I expected? How can I process that incident in the moment (if possible) & not allow it to ruin my day or even worse lash out towards others because of my own stuff?
I LOVE the post Tabitha Brown posted a while ago regarding Wendy Williams speaking on Tabitha’s husband- “Have a good day, but if your not going to have a good day- don’t go ruin someone elses
