How is 2023 going for you? Have you made any agreements with God, and how are those going?
At the end of 2021 I was feeling overextended and I heard clearly from God in 2022- not to begin any new projects or adventures.
Specifically, He was telling me to do the things He had already given me to do- such as finish my 2nd book, address issues at work-don't take on another job, be present at my children's events-don't look for more events to put them in, enjoy my husband, and handle details at church. Those things were enough!
I want to share with you my prayer for 2023, it's simple, "God show me how to seek your kingdom today, and allow my words, actions, and motives to be pleasing to you." See Matthew 6:33 and Psalm 19:14.
I want to want what God wants, and the only way to do this is to lay "flesh" aside, and ask that my will aligns with His will. This past week I've made a couple of videos on TikToc (www.tiktok.com/@dupreeperspective) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/shanelle.dupree/reels_tab) sharing issues that impact us from allowing God's kingdom to come and his will to be done.
You and I are God's hands and feet here on earth. If we have an incorrect perspective of our purpose we can be incorrectly positioned to carry out His will and His purpose. These videos are a reminder about who you are and why you are here.
